This truffle blue cheese is a symphony of flavors. The earthy truffle notes perfectly complement the robust character of the blue cheese, creating an unforgettable taste experience. Who said that vegan cheese is not cheese!
A dark rind, a soft texture, and slight veins of blue running through it. It has a unique taste which reminds you of blue cheese but nuttier – a mild one. This is a great cheese and it’s definitely is going to be a regular on our cheese platter.
Never thought vegan cheese could be so delicate yet complex in taste. Tried Antico Peposo and Tartufo Piccante, both are subtle, layered, and textured creations. Great with freshly baked bread in the morning, with a bunch of grapes and melon cubes in the afternoon, or with a bottle of beautiful Riesling in the evening. Will definitely be a family staple from now on….
I got a different looking version, no blue-black outer covering, but it has blue black veins running inside. I would have thought it is a blue cheese variety without knowing it is actually vegan. Need a tad more salt maybe? I like my cheese more salty :). Happy to eat it as a wine accompaniment. Tartufo Piccante (I thought it would be spicy, it has no chilli). Glad to discover a new healthy snack. A keeper!
